Dr. Michael Fairbrother
Assistant Professor
Michael Fairbrother is an Assistant Professor of elementary literacy education in the Faculty of Education at Saint Francis Xavier University. Michael previously worked as a graduate research assistant and research associate with the Canadian Research Centre on Inclusive Education. His teaching and research philosophy encompasses principles framed within tenets for forming inclusive educational experiences for my students through instruction that is research-informed, culturally cognizant, and responsive to voices too often underrepresented in our social structures. Michael looks forward to working with the team of colleagues and graduate students at the Centre researching and supporting the implementation of inclusive education across Canada.
