Linda Ismailos completed her PhD in July 2020, earning the Distinguished Graduate Student Award in the Doctor of Philosophy, Educational Studies program at Brock University. Her dissertation involved a mixed-methods study that explored the effect of a postsecondary transition program on the development of self-efficacy for post-secondary studies among secondary school students with exceptionalities. The study also examined how their perceptions of change in self-efficacy compared to their non-exceptional peers in a post-secondary transition program. Linda is currently a Professor at Niagara College and Sessional Instructor at Brock University teaching courses in Educational Psychology and Inclusive Education in the Faculty of Education.
