Dr. Nicole Neil
Nicole Neil, PhD, BCBA-D is the Associate Dean of Research in the Faculty of Education and Coordinator of the MPEd in Applied Behaviour Analysis at the University of Western Ontario. Her research involves interdisciplinary approaches to Applied Behaviour Analytic interventions including inclusive informal STEM Education; function-based cognitive behaviour therapy for children with autism and obsessive-compulsive behaviour; and behaviour analytic interventions for children with Down syndrome. She is interested in research questions that are relevant to the practice of behaviour analysis and families of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This type of research involves working closely with local advocacy groups and local families to identify relevant topics, carry out research in community settings, and ensure research results are accessible to community members.
